ivr_initialize
Database Systems Corp. (DSC) provides an API subroutine library of IVR Software routines that perform phone functions The following is a description of one of the functions within this library that controls the IVR operation - ivr_initialize.
The routine is from our C programming library, although this same routine has an equivalent for Visual Basic, .NET, C++ and Active-X. DSC provides a separate user guide for each of these languages.

ivr_initialize()
int
ivr_initialize(int arg_count, char **arg_list)
The
ivr_initialize function initializes the IVR. This function must be
called
before any other IVR functions. The ivr_initialize function makes
use of the
command line arguments passed in to the program. Do NOT modify the
command line arguments before calling ivr_initialize.
Parameters

The number of arguments in arg_list.

char **

arg_list
|
Argument list.

Return Value
Returns
IVR_SUCCESS on a successful function call. On error the function returns one
of the IVR Error Codes.
