HTH Worldwide uses our automated 800 phone answering service to route phone calls whenever there is a request for emergency transport services. Automatic Call Distribution Feature
Calls processed by our phone systems can be automatically routed based upon the number called (DNIS) and the date and time of day. Using our Event Scheduler, different actions can occur based upon these general parameters. Our Automatic Call Distributor (ACD) checks the dialed number against these user defined events and takes the appropriate action.
Actions could include any of the following:
- Send calls to Voicemail
- Play a recorded message
- Route call to a specified agent group
- Transfer call to an outside line
- Invoke a custom IVR program (with special prompts and routing)
